Fusion Art Announces the Winners of the 4th Annual Women Artists Art Exhibition

Palm Springs, CA, USA – November 17, 2021 – Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 4th Annual Women Artists International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.

For its 19th quarterly online art competition, Fusion Art, once again, celebrated women artists. The gallery invited both 2D and 3D women artists, only, to share their best art and photography depicting any subject matter and using any media. All women artists, over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit.

The Women Artists Best in Show winners are Monique McFarland for her watercolor, “The Cowboy”; Barbara Mierau-Klein for her digital photo collage, “The Raven” and Karen Russo for her stoneware, casein and acrylic sculpture, “Spirit’s Cradle”. As the Best in Show winners, Monique, Barbara and Karen are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in 2022.

Other award winners include Second Place winners, Susan Currie, Esther Byrt and Nina Luna. Third Place awards were given to Cher Pruys, Roxy McHaffey and Jae Holstein. Fourth Place awards were given to Feng Fei, Sara Victoria Sandberg and Liu Yue. Fifth Place awards were given to Suqin Lu, Barbara Klimczak and Yolanda Winfield.

Rounding out the awards for the exhibition are eighteen Honorable Mention winners. Honorable Mention awards in the Traditional Art category were given to Luiza Albastova, Linda McCord, Chunting Wang, Julia Doemland, Dongmei Liu and Rebecca Horne.

Honorable Mention awards in the Photography & Digital category were given to Julia Hirst, Mary Ann Roesler, Sandy Lacro, Erica Sloan, Emma Mudge and Diane Liguori.

Honorable Mention awards in the 3-Dimensional category were given to Jacki Cohen, Natalie Oliphant, Elissa L. Bromberg, Kathleen McSherry, Wu YaNan and Yang Xinming.

The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, China, Croatia, Malaysia, Romania, Ireland, Latvia, Italy, Sweden, South Africa, Hungary, Poland, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Taiwan, Russia, Japan, Ghana, Argentina and the United Arab Emirates. Overall the gallery judged 663 entries and accepted 257 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for 3 months starting on November 15, 2021.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions.
